Engagement Congratulations Poems

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

Your best and longest friend has just gotten engaged. Are you trying to come up with a congratulations poem for them? Are you having trouble of thinking about what to say to them? This happened to me not too long ago, I had to think long and hard before I knew what to say.

So I wrote a few things down until I go it right, I spent a couple days trying to do this.

But anything for a long time friend, and my friend was so pleased when I sent her the poem, I was glad I took the time to write it.

To help you in this situation let me say that the poem does not have to be highly complex.

So let me give you some examples of what to say so you will have an easier time.

Engagement Congratulations Poems:

engagement

Congratulations to John and Jane,

on your very happy engagement.

now wouldn’t that be the thing!

Each other you do adore,

so you decided you wanted more.

She just said yes to the proposal,

now your engaged and telling all.

Best wishes for your new life,

where you will be husband and wife.

You have some plans to make,

tomorrow after you are fully awake.

and you feel it is all so very, very right.

You love each other with all your might,

travel together and soon the wedding night.

Free Marriage – Engagement Proposal Ideas

Monday, April 20th, 2009

You can only propose to your loved one for marriage only once unless failure is the result on the first attempt.

But if you know that the two of you are meant for each other, it should be safe enough to propose with some style to make things a lot more memorable and special.

Try these unique and creative proposal ideas for a change.

Marriage / Engagement Proposal Ideas:

1. Find a local, but high class Chinese restaurant and ask any of the staff for a special favor and that is to put the ring inside a fortune cookie and serve it after the meal.

Don’t worry about your partner eating it because she will definitely open it first to read her fortune. But imagine her reaction if she sees the ring inside. Complete the shock by traditionally proposing to her afterwards.

2. If her best friend happens to be close with you as well, you ask that person to secretly place the ring on her pillow along with a note to meet you outside. Of course she can’t be home while this happens so you should ask her out on a small date first.

Don’t propose to her yet while you are out. The idea is to bring her home safely and then wait patiently outdoors so you can propose to her under the stars.

3. If you know her boss at work, give the envelope with the ring tucked inside and then tell the person to call your partner’s attention setting a bad atmosphere. The boss must then present the envelope while keeping that stern look.

Once she opens the envelope, rush to the scene and propose to her. This will only work if the person is a good actor.

4. Do you remember how your first date was like? Why not try to replicate it, but make the ending much happier by proposing to the person.

To make this super extra special, you must do it on an anniversary. Unlikely, but still possible.

5. Your date doesn’t always have to be like the first. You can even make it something very unique if you both like traveling.

Try to go somewhere else (but not too far unless you have loads of money) and spend the rest of the night and then surprisingly proposing to her so she’ll know exactly why this trip was planned.

6. It is always romantic for a couple to watch a very romantic movie. It is even more romantic if the movie involves a proposal.

But it could be the most romantic thing if you propose to her on the exact moment the characters on the screen propose. Just remember to be really serious when asking and then finish the rest of the movie and go out happily just like the ending.

7. You can make a wonderful slide-show of pictures throughout your relationship and then end it with the magic question. Place it on a DVD and label it with something misleading like the name of her favorite movie or something.

Don’t be limited to these proposal ideas for marriage. There are plenty of unique ways to propose and you don’t have to be a celebrity nor have lots of money to do it.

You can even make modified versions of these methods listed to make things even more special. Use your creativity and combine with the power of love and commitment. You’ll have a marriage proposal that you’ll never forget.
